The Road to Happiness
This is an elaboration of one of my favorite Rebbe Nachman tales - "The Clever One and the Simple One." This story puts us on the road to happiness.
A person with emuna doesn’t envy anyone else in the world. He doesn’t need covet anything others have, nor does he speak a single syllable about anyone else. He knows that they have their lives, and he has his. A person with emuna knows that Hashem has magnificent precision tailor-made Divine providence over every single creation in the universe. Therefore, the simple shoemaker could be immensely happy, knowing that whatever he did was directed by Hashem’s own personal intervention in his life. That’s why he danced and rejoiced no matter what he ate, or no matter how much money he made, or whatever his finished shoes looked like. You'll love this CD.
