Fooling a Fool

07-winnie-the-pooh Assad

One of the characteristics of fools is they want to be fooled. Fools exercise their power of free choice to ignore the truth, or to distort it in order to fit the mold of their foolish ideology.

At this moment, Haaretz.com (Israel's Leftist newspaper and website) features a photo of Hamas leader Khaled Meshal with the following caption underneath: "Hamas leader Khaled Meshal in Damascus in June. Meshal's relocation to Sudan is seen as a sign of Syria's commitment to peace talks with Israel."

Meanwhile, Hamas vigorously denies that Meshal has left Syria, and reaffirms its strong ties to Syria.

Israel's corrupt leadership and the self-hating Israeli left are going out of there way to prove that Syria's President Assad is more benign that Winnie the Pooh and just as innocent (see above photos - in case you don't know, Winnie is the image on the left and Assad the one on the right). Syrian expatriate Farid Ghadry, head of the Syrian Reform Party, doesn't seem to think so. He says, "Notice how fast, in the middle of peace negotiations with Israel, Assad has jumped to Moscow to attempt to conclude an arms deal that would make his regime exponentially more dangerous regardless of whether peace with Israel is a certainty or a game of showmanship. Notice as well how impulsively Assad ignited further the precarious Georgian-Russian situation by reminding the world that Cold War era may not be over. I ask Israel: Is there any doubt in your mind as to Assad's danger and reckless behavior?"

Don't forget that Syria is arming to the gills. Don't forget that Syria is smuggling thousands of tons of lethal weapons into Lebanon and the hands of Hizbolla. Don't forget that Syria continues to strengthen its ties with its closest ally Iran. That notwithstanding, the foolish anti-emuna anti-truth Israeli government and leftist media want us to believe their silly "sign of Syria's commitment to peace talks with Israel." Any fool that believes such nonsense deserves to be fooled. May Hashem save us from such foolishness.
