3:12 PM, Local time: After an earlier missile barrage at 11:52 AM, the day's second barrage of three Grad missiles has just fallen in Ashdod. Thank G-d, there are no physical casualties, but one of the three fell right in the middle of a residential neighborhood on an empty kindergarten. There has been heavy damage to property, and several people are being treated for shock. Our neighbors 7 miles south in Ashkelon have also been hit very hard today with multiple barrages and considerable property damage, but praise G-d, no physical casualties.
The soldiers of the IDF have an indescribably dangerous job to do and need our prayers. Later tonight, G-d willing, the Beams will feature an interim spiritual-strategic analysis of the war so far, and what we can expect in the future.
