Hashem commands Bilaam not to go to Balak. Balak is insistent in bringing Bilaam, sends more messengers, and Hashem agrees to Bilaam's going? Don't we learn that there's no such thing as a Divine change of heart? Here's our 14-minute mini-lesson on this week's Torah portion, Balak:
For your enjoyment, here is this week's Chut Shel Chessed Parsha Sheet in English. Shabbat Shalom!
B"S
Thank you for your lessons, Rabbi !
There's also a great Rashi on the challenge Balaam made when he told the angel "Now, if it displeases you, I will return". The angel replied "Go with these men, but the word I will speak to you-that you shall speak." aknowledging both the fact that a word of HaShem (Bless Him) can never be anulled (for He did in the end told Balaam to go) ànd that indeed, a man " is ultimately led along the path he wishes to follow" (Mak 10)...
Thanks again for the rekindling of that awesome insight.
Blessings always !
