Rebbe Nachman teaches us that in order to traverse this world peacefully, we must know how to deal with the up days and the down days. Moshe Rabbenu hinted to the same idea... Enjoy our 10-minute mini-lesson on this week's Torah portion.
Feel free to download this week's Chut Shel Chesed Parsha Sheet. Have a great Shabbat!
Thank you so much Rabbi Brody for posting this. I was in a pickle on how to help someone whom i know and this is excellent sagely advice.
Again, thank you. Amen to your sincere wishes for a "no fast" this Tisha B'Av and may that be the case.
Shabbat Shalom.

Police close Temple Mount to Jews on Tisha B'av (Jpost)
"...and going up to the Temple Mount in purity according to halacha (Jewish law) is the beginning of the process of rebuilding."
- Rabbi Chaim Richman
This is an incorrect interpretation of the prophecies. There is a timeline to the Redemption. I repeat...Pushing one of the messianic imperatives before its time could prove dangerously counter-productive. You can't solve a Rubik's Cube in the optimal time if you make the wrong moves. The recognition and acceptance of Moshiach's sovereignty precedes any building of the Third Temple on the Mount.
