Egypt? Peru? The Moon? New York City!?!
Via Yahoo News: The sand dunes pictured above are the result of the cleanup from Hurricane Sandy, the deadly superstorm that swept through the New York area in October. While the storm has long since passed, many signs of its devastation remain. Photographer Stephane Missier, aka Charles le Brigand, captured these images of the otherworldly mounds on the Rockaways in Queens, in the parking lot of the Jacob Riis Park.
Nothing in the world is happenstance or random. What's the message Hashem is sending us? Are there parallels between ancient Egypt and modern-day USA? You be the judge. We'll be happy to hear your thoughts, which you're welcome to share with us simply by clicking on the "comments" button at the bottom of this post.
Nothing in the world is happenstance or random. Those who talk about others (Sandy) got recently theirs (Sandy). Those who shows others big lines for Gas, got recently bad Gas that made big traffic. I hope thise picture will not mean atomic bomb. In my opinion we should search ourselves first.

The pyramids are a no brainer. How obvious can Hashem get? Pharaoh Obama will pretty soon have the Jews enslaved, especially after 70% of US Jews volunteered for slavery by voting for him. Now, with his new secretary of Defense Chuckie boy the Jew hater, Pharaoh Obama is showing his true colors. Hashem is telling our people in the USA that today's idolatrous and immoral America is really Egypt in disguise, and to get out of there while you can.

Much like when we were in Mitzrayim, H' took us out. Yet 4/5 of the Jewish Nation remained behind and were not redeemed. There seems to be an obvious parallel. H' is telling us it is time to leave the USA and go to Israel/eretz hakedusha for the final redemption. How many of us will pack our bags and go, and how many people will be among the 4/5.

Shalom Honourable Rabbi, and dear readers;
It is not hard to find things that are possibly related, such as this: http://www.investigativeproject.org/3869/egyptian-magazine-muslim-brotherhood-infiltrates
It is only the timeline of coming events that makes me wonder, and makes me scared. Rather that, than the general direction of how things seem to be going. And why are so many (Jewish) people still not woken up to the 'new normal'

You miss the point Moshe. No one says that there are no judgements from Heaven in Eretz Yisrael. It is just that the judgements are laser precise here. In Chu"l on Hoshana Rabba, HaShem dispenses the amount of rain on the world to the 70 Sarim of the nations. Here in Eretz Yisrael, G-d holds he keys to rain. On an interesting note we see this in the mazal for Shevat. In Eretz Yisrael, it is a water bucket, with no face because the Face behind this is HaShem's. The nations of the world call this mazal Aquarius, and Aquarius has a face even if he is carrying the water bucket because amongst the nations, HaShem does use an intermediary...but not here in EY.
By and large this rain is a tremendous bracha here. After this wettest of weeks is complete, we will take note that parts of Tel Aviv were under water for a while. If Tel Aviv wants to persist as the world's 2nd "gayest" city, it gets a Flood. Here in the hill country, the rain is a beautiful sight. We hope and pray that Tel Aviv repents from its ways very soon. Yet there are very few basements to flood here because we live here with a lot less gashmiyut to sock away. Come with what you have though. Just subtract off the extra stuff gathering dust in your basement.

Ben Artzi said that, no judgements in EY while all world will be destroyed, do you agree with him?
I personally don't have any extras and yearn for EY more than anybody else, also I opned my tick for Aliya, but I can't come right now with my family for a reason.

No, Moshe. I don't agree with him about that, especially for those who have a difficulty being decent human beings here. Human or Noachide decency is kadmah to the Torah. So HaShem expects it of everyone here, including a tinok she'nishba. We are all judged here by G-d everyday here in Eretz Yisrael. It is just that the hotline is a local call, and the hasgachah is more direct since we are dwelling in His palace.
I do believe that the Rachmanut part of the Geulah process will be felt most here in Eretz Yisrael than in Chu"l though. (after we work our our lack of common decency problems). The Geulah will come with Rachamim for those of us who were nichnas with yissurim. In short we paid our dues by paying the entrance fee of yissurim to be here and living faithful lives day in and day out.
Good for you on your tik. Keep yearning to work out those family problems as soon as possible. G-d bless.

This Shabbat is Parshat Vayera and Rosh Chodesh Shevat. 3 years ago, on this same Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Shevat we read the Torah portion where G-D introduces himself to Moshe Rabbenu reminding Moshe that He is the G-D of Abraham. He gives the mission to Moshe to tell Pharoah, 'let my people go.' It is in this Torah portion that the first 3 plagues are discussed.
In the haftorah,it talks about the beginning of the war of Gog and Magog and it says that word will be heard even on the farthest isle.
3 years ago in Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Shevat Israel was already responding to the Hurricane that devastated Haiti, one of 2 nations on a far island. Haiti sounds like the English Hate and is the place that voodoo, a form of idol worship was started. In addition the other country on the island, which had little damage from the hurricane, is Dominican Republic - roughly translated from the Latin - god's country.
The country Haiti, pronounced in Hebrew is Ha-it-ee, Ha-it-ee in Hebrew is part of one of G-d's names that means: He was, He is, and He will always be.
Interesting to note that Queens, where these pyramids are is on one end of Long Island.

Shalom Rabbi,
Wow! I can not believe this picture...you see---I live in Belle Harbor,New York, or, Rockaway Park. These pyramids are just a few blocks away from my house.
Hashem must be trying to send a clear message to me, and all of the Jewish people who are living in this area...to think twice, about living here and re-building our homes.
I for one, would love to come back to Israel...but, due to personal circumstances do not have the financial means (I am divorced and do not have any job skills).
I am trapped in Egypt! Only Moshiach can help me...with miracles and wonders. (Amen)
Wishing you...All the Best,
Rivkah Klein

I would like to m'chzek (encourage) anyone who thinks they can't move to EY because of money. I was "trapped" in the USA with no money and I really mean no money. I was in a dead-end job search that lagged on for 2.5years with no results. I had a dead-end part time job 20 hours a week that barely covered my expenses and big debts (college loans etc.)
After several months of absolutely no job interviews or even a single response to the many, many resumes I was sending out - I was on the brink of despair. No job, no job prospects, no money, big debts. What next? I so longed to move to EY and it looked impossible. So with natural way out, I decided that if I really believed that HaShem can do anything then I had to believe HaShem can get me out of this seemingly hopeless situation.
So I turned to hisbodedus in a very serious way and begged HaShem to help me and to send me money and a job so I could move to EY. All my histadlus in the USA was going nowhere so it was crystal clear to me that I needed to daven. So BE"H I did.
Bli ayin hara HaShem helped me beyond words. I started davening seriously in Cheshvan and moved chasdei HaShem to EY a week and a half after Pesach the same year. I had a job within a few weeks are arriving in EY.
Tov HaShem l'kol. HaShem has everything you need. Turn to Him and ask. I was stubborn despite the utter hopelessness of my situation I clung to the fact, to the reality - and not the possibility - but the reality that HaShem can do ANYTHING and that HaShem in His infinite rachmim would help me. I am not more special or more deserving of HaShem's rachamim than any other Jew. Anyone can ask for matnas chinam (a free gift).
You want to come home to EY turn to HaShem, He will help you.
Moving here is one of the greatest things that has happened in my life and my life has truly turned around in the most remarkable ways and its all because of emuna and bitachon.
Hatzlacha raba, may HaShem bless all your efforts to come home!

Let's look at this week's Haftorah portion. Nothing is happenstance.
I sort of took the parallel mentioned in the article to be general understanding. Surely The Jewish soul suffers incredible numbing torment in USA modern society and galus in general, to the point where people don't even know what is happening to them. Though, I would argue that this time around pharoh is the EI. My only question is who and where is our Moshe?
Yeshayahu 63:1. "Who is this coming from Edom, with soiled garments, from Bozrah, this one [Who was] stately in His apparel, girded with the greatness of His strength? I speak with righteousness, great to save."
Let's keep in mind The Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneeron said every Jew, even the wicked son will take part in the final Redemption. His words, not mine and he had Ruach HaKodesh.

This is true, there is no one central leader righteously proclaimed as the Moshiach with the entire world acknowledging him. Not to be funny, but looking at YouTube, filled with rabbis delivering shiurim such as our beloved Rabbi Arush and Rabbi Lazer, what was the most popular video of all time, reaching more than one billion hits-- a South Korean rapper nicknamed Psy who posted a catchy pop tune video called Gangnam Style. While many of us have disagreed with each other in the course of different blogs, I think we can all agree on one thing: Psy is not the Moshiach. Blessings to all!

When a dream is interpreted, it is said that the interpretation can affect the way the dream plays out. Maybe it is also true with how we interpret different events and it seems like it would be better if we would interpret events in a positive way.
The back of the dollar bill has an unfinished pyramid. I believe it signifies that the unfinished pyramid on the dollar bill symbolizes that the US was not yet complete. Maybe these pyramids which look finished can symbolize that out of the hardship of a hurricane will grow strength to rebuild.

Our last redemption will be like the first redemption(from Egypt). Many believe that America is like Egypt that holding Jews not to come back home(EY), even thought many can't go, and only Mashiah can do the job. We have millions Jews who are awaiting for Mashiah and I believe that Moshe our first and the last redeemer will show up in America first and american Jews will be redeemed first to fulfill the prophecy.
