Like Riding a Bull...

Rodeo fall

Life is like trying to ride a crazy bull - we try our best to hold on, but sometimes we get thrown, and pretty hard at that.

OK, so we eat some dust. But there's always another chance for the strong of heart.

You've got more strength than you realize. Read all about it in my feature article Back on Your Feet in this weeks super issue of Breslev Israel web magazine.

Also featured this week:

Rav Shalom Arush - The Book and its Cover

Rivka Levy - The Merciless, Deficit of Attention

Racheli Reckles - Stealing Beauty

Dr. Zev Ballen - The Five P's

Rabbi Eli Mansour - Flying Over a Cemetary

Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh - Body-Soul Nutrients

Rabbi Yaacov Haber - Peace Within, Peace Without

Rabbi Dovid Charlop - The Great Hijack, about this week's Torah portion, Toldot.

The Beams and Breslev Israel wish to extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to our cherished friend Menachem Herman, who lost his mother on Sunday. Menachem is sitting shiva at 11/7 Gad Street, in the Scheinfeld section of Beit Shemesh. May Hashem comfort him among the other mourners of Zion and Yerushalayim.

Bright Beams blessings for a week of good tidings. We look forward to seeing all of our friends in LA this coming week. This trip will be unforgettable, G-d willing. Don't miss the opportunity to see and hear Rav Shalom Arush in person.

Looking To Hashem

King David was privileged to look at Hashem and say, "I am with you always." How did he reach such a lofty spiritual level? Can we truly cling to Hashem in this generation? Enjoy this week's 44-minute emuna shiur, and let it be the beginning of a wonderful new week, amen!

This Week's Live Broadcast - "Looking at Hashem", 7 PM

With Hashem's loving grace, our weekly emuna lesson and live broadcast will take place as usual this Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM local time, at our Chut Shel Chessed Yeshiva, 13 Shmuel Hanavi Street, Jerusalem, in the main sanctuary. This week's shiur is entitled, "Looking at Hashem". Everyone is welcome, both men and women.

The Nachlieli's Song

One day, I was really feeling down. I took a walk in the park, and suddenly a cute little white wagtail, known in Hebrew as Nachlieli, started dancing around me. Usually a shy bird, this little Nachlieli was ever so cheerful an unabashed. Instantly, I started smiling. The bird seemed to dance according to this melody, which Hashem put in my heart, and which appears on my latest instrumental CD, "Whispering Soul". I hope this will put a smile on your face too:
