Get Out of Its Way!

Steamroller Evil Inclination

It's no joke. We live in a generation where the evil inclination has never been mightier. Daily, like a steamroller, it gains more strength and momentum with all its ever-expanding tools. Our beloved teacher Rabbi Shalom Arush gives us important advice for anyone that doesn't want to be flattened in this world and in the next in Plastered in Public, his feature article in this week's brand new issue of Breslev Israel web magazine.

This week, we read the Torah portion of Noah. In describing a concept from it, I tell a moving story about my father of blessed memory, Yaacov ben Yitzchak. Check it out in The Gallant Grocer.

Are you in a mess with no practical solution? Hashem has endless solutions, so why not turn to Him? That's why He's Hashem, with no limit to His salvations, as we'll see in The Lost Keys, by our ever-so-popular Racheli Reckles.

Dr. Zev Ballen is a master in self-help coaching; if you'd like to clarify an issue that confuses many, read his eye-opening article, How Much Self-Love is OK?

Sunny Levi's story about her handicapped brother will leave you breathless - don't miss Josh: Imperfectly Perfect.

Chaya Ovadia shows us that like everything else in life, too much of anything isn’t usually a good thing. In our efforts to give our children the best, we can overdo our love and end up smothering them; be sure to read Precious Sprouts

Lori Steiner explains that we build ourselves, we are actually Rebuilding the Holy Temple.

If Hashem controls the world (and He does), then why should we make any kind of effort? Isn't everything in His hands, and predetermined as well? Dovber Halevi therefore asks, Why Try?

I was personally with Rav Shalom Arush shlit'a in Uman when he prayed on Rosh Hashana eve for all those who sent a Pidyon Nefesh to Emuna Outreach. May you be blessed with the very best year you ever had, by virtue of all the emuna you're helping us spread in the world. Why not start the new year 5777 off right by helping to spread the light of emuna around the globe - Donate to Emuna Outreach and have a lovely new week and a marvelous new year!
