Dear Rabbi Brody
This was a very timely lesson. In the USA when Jews do not agree politically it can lead to a rupture between friends. My friend, a holocaust survivor from Berlin, grew up with the phrase " either a Bolshevik or a dead Jew ." Unfortunately I voted for the incorrect person and now we are no longer friends. It got so unpleasant that I had to ask him not to call me. This was very difficult but he could not get past the election and called me every week to let me know using words one Jew should not say to another . At least thanks to your and the Rav's teachings and lectures I did not argue back and tried to remain cordial as long as possible
