Will Obama outlaw the Eighteen Benedictions?

We say to Hashem thrice daily in the Amida prayer, "And to Jerusalem Your city return in mercy, and dwell within as You promised," invoking Hashem to return and rebuild the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

Hold on folks, there's a problem here: The Holy Temple Mount is in East Jerusalem. Obama wants a total freeze on Jewish east Jerusalem, including natural growth, much less additional construction.

Will Obama outlaw the Eighteen Benedictions (Amida, or "Shmona Esrei") because of the Jerusalem benediction? According to Obama, G-d is potentially an illegal settler in Jerusalem Who must be stopped!

Obama has therefore told G-d that He may not build the Third Temple, and He certainly may not dwell there. Hashem is violating the settlement freeze by bringing Moshiach and building Bet HaMikdash.

Up until now, few were so cheeky as to blaspheme Hashem. Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, and Titus did, and each had a very tragic ending.

Mr. Obama, telling families in Modiin Illit and Beitar Illit that they cannot have more children is blaspheming Hashem. For the good of your country, back off, sir; you are playing with an all-consuming fire. Wait and see.

Dismantling elbows, not Jewish homes

The arrogant are blind to their surroundings. They pay no attention to others, for they think they know everything. They fail to see their own ignorance.

The Hebrew word for dismantling, like dismantling a settlement (G-d forbid) is "mefarek", spelled in Hebrew מפרק. If you juggle the two middle letters, you get מרפק, "marpek" - the Hebrew word for elbow. If the blind and arrogant (like her boss) American Secretary of State Clinton had the slightest measure of spiritual awareness, she'd do some soul searching that would lead her to the obvious connection between her ignorant insistance to dismantle Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria and her fractured elbow. The sooner she realizes that Hashem has clipped her wings, the better for everyone.

Fools and tyrants never learn. We therefore can't expect the foolish tyrant in the White House to make a connection between his demand to freeze Jewish construction and growth in areas surrounding our capital city of Jerusalem and the tragic train crash that has taken 9 lives (up to this writing) in his capital city of Washington, DC. 

Before Obama questions our Divine mandate (including clearly established borders as stipulated in the Torah) to our homeland, maybe he should question his own legitimacy to sit in the White House. Millions of folks in the USA think he's an unlawful squatter at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, never having proved that he was born in the USA. Was he? 

The Obama campaign people produced a Hawaii birth certificate for their boss. The experts say that it ain't worth the paper it's printed on. Let's hear what Harvard PhD Alan Keyes has to say:

Standing up to the False Prophet

Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map, so now Hashem has them preoccupied with plenty of civil unrest while the corruption of the Ayetollas and their hangman Achmedinejad is being exposed.

Whoever threatens Israel gets a backfire in their face. Obama - America's false prophet - threatens Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria, so now the trigger-happy North Koreans are threatening him.

Walpin haunts Kingpin

Americorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin smelled a rat and began investigating the misuse of AmeriCorps funds by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California and a prominent supporter of President Obama. Walpin, whose position as inspector general is supposed to be protected from influence by political appointees and the White House, was fired. Who fired him? The President himself...

Mister V the snake thinks he can remove Hashem's beloved children from entire chunks of our promised Holy Land; his utter arrogance and his blatant attempt to stifle Jewish growth in the Land of Israel have now moved him into the direct "care" of Hashem Himself. In that respect, Hashem is exposing the Chicago Kingpin that now resides in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC much quicker than I thought He would. Apparantly, there's not much time left so everything is moving fast...

So now, Walpin is haunting the Kingpin. From a perspective of clean government, the Walpin affair is much nastier than Nixon's Watergate, which ultimately led to an impeachment.

Wake up, America. You've put an Ivy-League slick-tongued Mafia Kingpin in the White House; he's already printed a trillion dollars to bail out his buddies. You let him get away with that, but you and your grandchildren will shoulder the bill.

Beitar Illit and Maale Edumim are Hashem's jewels; a sane person doesn't go around threatening to remove lovely Torah-dedicated Jewish families with 9 and 10 children from their homes in the well-established cities that the Kingpin calls "settlements" slated for demolition, Heaven forbid. He hasn't learned the lesson of New Orleans, struck by Hurricane Katrina the same day that Jewish Gaza was forcefully exiled. Extreme arrogance always overrides sanity. The Kingpin is making tragic mistakes, and Hashem will personally nail him just like He nailed Pharoah and Haman.

Look how cunning a snake the Kingpin really is. He built an entire Judenrat with such henchmen as Rahm (רם gematria 240, which equals עמלק 'Amalek') Emanuel and "Special Counsel to the President for Ethics and Government Reform" (sic) Norman Eisen.

Walpin is only the beginning of the Kingpin's nightmares. Nevertheless, like Pharaoh, the Kingpin will receive temporary respite so that Hashem can rain on him many more personal plagues. Drunk with his own stupendous ego, the Kingpin will continue making more and bigger mistakes. If America won't have the backbone to investigate him and impeach him, she's liable to crash-land with him and thereby see a lot more suffering. Just wait and see.

Do you think we've been joking every time we've been calling for our American brethren to make Aliya, pronto? In the same manner that Pharaoh's misdeeds reduced ancient Egypt to rubble, Katrina will be a tea party compared to the devistation that B. Hussein Kingpin brings down on America with his pressure on Israel and his appeasement of international terrorist states. Don't say that you weren't forewarned.

Many of our good friends and longtime Beams readers have written lately and asked why I haven't yet made a frontal assault on Mister V in DC. The reason is simple - we have moved a giant step closer to the Geula. Politics and politicking no longer determine anything. The closer we get to Moshiach, the more Hashem is revealing His individual tailor-made precision Divine Providence over the entire universe, and within each individual.

Hashem put Obama in power. True, the future of Israel seems bleak. Obama, who in Cherokee dialect would be called inadu because of his forked tongue, promised to end American dictates around the world. Yet, in Israel, he and his emissaries are doing their utmost to ram unkosher policies down Jewish throats. Yet, a snake doesn't bite unless Hashem tells it too. Obama and his threat against hundreds of thousand of Jewish homes in Judea, Samaria, and the suburbs of Jerusalem are merely a wake-up call designed for us to strengthen ourselves in teshuva and emuna.

Political activism didn't save Gush Katif and it won't save Beitar or Maale Edumim - only teshuva and personal prayer will.

All of the severe prophecies about bloodshed and redemption are true, but by way of personal prayer - especially thanking Hashem profusely for all of our trials and tribulations as well as our blessings, the sever prophecies and stern judgments will be mitigated and the Geula will come peacefully and sweetly.

Meanwhile, one who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones. In the name of my dear Cherokee friends and brothers, the USA should return to its 1831 borders, when the Indian Act disenfranchised the Cherokee nation from their tribal lands in North Carolina. The US Government must respect and acknowledge the legitimate rights of the Cherokee Nation, and all the white-man settlements including Raleigh and Durham must be dismantled immediately.

Once a fair peace agreement is reached with the Cherokee, then the USA must negotiate with the Sioux, the Cheyenne, the Navajo, the Apaches, the Nez Perces... the list is long. When the US Government finishes repairing its own injustice, crimes, and acts of genocide against Native Americans, then maybe they'll be able to stick their noses in our business.

Now, we can finally realize why zoos keep snakes in glass houses.

The Echo

There's this strange echo going around. No matter what direction we turn to, we hear, "Two-state solution, two-state solution, two-state..."

The source of the echo is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC. It then resounded off of Hillary Clinton, reverberated in Rahmy boy's hyperactive mouth, then bounced off Joe Biden's vocal chords. It's now echoing from Miss Merkel in Germany and spreading all over Europe and Asia.

The echo will be gaining momentum and volume, and will soon surround Israel from all sides. Even Israelis (the ones that don't believe in their right to their own homeland) will be yelling, "Two-state solution, two-state solution, two-state..."

I pray that Bibi will be able to withstand the pressure, but predict that he won't.

This is all for the best. On July 24, 2008, we wrote here on the Beams in The Rise of Mister V, "Here's a Geula prediction: Mister V will negotiate (and be buddies) with Iran, Syria, and everyone else, and Israel will stand alone with no one to turn to but Hashem. I like Mister V because I'm looking forward to that day. Wait and see how emuna will win and reign." Many people gave me a lot of flak for that post, but it's all comin' down just like we said it would.

A lot of well-meaning Orthodox rabbis ran to the AIPAC convention in DC earlier this week. It's hard to believe how they could be so naive; AIPAC participation must mean here (I'm still in the USA for 5 more days) that they're cool and influential. Yet, AIPAC is turning into a rubber stamp for the Administration, and if G-d forbid an evil decree comes down moving more Jews in Israel off their land, then history will view the rabbis of AIPAC as the 21st century Judenrat. What a fumble in American Judaism's end zone. Better than dabbling in politics, America's rabbis would be better off spreading emuna.

Swine Flu mentioned in the Gemara

Swine Flu is clearly mentioned in the Gemara, tractate Taanit 21a: Rav Yehuda was told about a plague among swine. He decreed a fast, something that is done in times of danger, even though the Jews didn't seem affected, certainly not by financial loss and not by a threat to their health. The Gemara asks if Rav Yehuda's rationale is that a plague on one type of livestock can spread to other types of livestock. The Gemara concludes that Rav Yehuda's fear was that the digestive tract of a pig resembles the digestive tract of a human, indicating that a health threat to the former is a health threat to the latter. The Tosefot commentary is somewhat different, explaining that Rav Yehuda was worried that the plague would spread from the swine to non-Jews, and then from the non-Jews to the Jew.

Clearly, one who neither eats swine nor acts like swine need worry about Swine Flu.

Purifying the Impure

"One is not considered a scholar unless he is able to purify the impure," our sages teach us (see tractate Sanhedrin 17a and the Meiri's commentary). One has to give credit to President Obama, for he apparently is doing precisely that. He is brilliantly using his influence behind the scenes to twist the arm of Hamas and get them to agree to a unity government in a cosmetic coalition with the PA (Fatah). As such, according to the Laws of Mixtures (see Shulchan Aruch, Yura Dea, Chapter 98, clause 1), Hamas loses the name of Hamas (unkosher) and the entire mixture with Fatah (kosher, according to the USA) is rendered Kosher as the "Palestinian Authority".

Good try, President Obama, but it's not so simple. If you are discussing 2 separate species, and the minority unkosher type mixes with the majority kosher type, then the entire mix is rendered kosher as long as the minority unkosher type is completely blended and indistinguishable from the majority kosher type, according to the Torah. Yet, Rabbinical Ordinance requires that the minority unkosher type be no more than 1 part in 60 for the entire mix to be rendered kosher.

As such, President Obama's attempt to make the Hamas "Kosher" by encouraging a unity government with the Fatah does not succeed for the following reasons, according to Jewish Law:

1. The Fatah does not have a majority over Hamas, much less 60:1.

2. The Fatah in itself is not kosher, but just as much terrorists as Hamas. (Remember, The Tanzim and the Islamic Jihad are part of the PA and Fatah, and not part of Hamas.)

Smooth rhetoric and demogoguery works on the masses, but it doesn't reflect truth. President Obama and his advisors will have to learn much more Gemara before they'll be able to purify the impure.
