I heard Rav Shalom Shelita say in an old shiur that all of the conditions for Mashiach coming have been fulfilled except for the destruction of the Kinneret. He said that at the time of the shiur the damage due to drought in the Kinneret was the fulfillment of that last condition. Maybe it will also be a major earthquake?

May we see will our own eyes the return of Hashem to Zion with Mercy!!!

Read your article & now ... "scream boo-hoo and bellyaching etc" okay am I yotsei hhova on that?
Rav Lazer, as usual your article is brilliant. Kol Hakavod. I hope pray that people will take it seriously & spread your important message.
The earthquakes exactly in a time span wherein there are again arguments on whether or not to permit "gay pride" parades in The Holy Land. It's beyond my ability to understand - how anyone can be proud of a sin so severe that it is the ONLY sin for which the Torah clearly states that an offering to the Beit Hamikdash will be refused! A sin that negates the very God designed/given system for continued life in the world be it plant animal or human.
As for charity, there is much to say there too but better to ......
Diaspora, signs all over the world are flashing warning lights & our people are still staying out there, as some have replied to me "it's comfortable & good money here. We'll wait till the anti-antisemitism gets bad." Hmmmm millions of our people made that mistake 80 years ago.
As the old folks song goes "When will they ever learn when will they ever learn?"
Hhazak Ubarukh Rav Lazer, keep up the marvelous work

PS: Miriam's well was further south 35 years ago, a bit northwest of Degania Aleph

Yehuda Leib

Unbelievable article! Just revealing the fact that the rock Moshe hit was really Miriam's well and is now concealed in the Kinneret is amazing enough, but to connect it with the Three Weeks and the current earthquakes is goosebump-raising (actually it's the perfectly placed Torah and Talmudic proofs that cause the goosebumps). The past and present and future all colliding at once. I'm blown away. And the Rav's passion and love for Klall Yisrael really shines in this one. I just printed it out and plan to read it aloud at our Shabbos table. Man, I've got some serious teshuva to do...

Lazer

Thanks for the comments, Shai, Yaacov and Yehuda Leib. This is only the tip of the iceberg. Jeremiah 1:14 warns that the tough times will start from the north. Now that Assad, Iran and Hezbolla have put down the revolution in Syria, they've cast their eyes on the Golan. That could be volatile overnight. Iran said again this morning that they're out to destroy us. The earthquakes are only part of it. But, at Richter 4.7 and less, they're still low-volume wake-up calls that we should all heed. Every blessing and may we hear good news, LB

This is no coincidence and very uncanny that

Over on Emunaroma--Rivka Levy has written something very similiar in her article https://www.emunaroma.com/blog/the-sun-didnt-always-use-to-rise-in-the-east
about earthquakes/volcanoes and gehinom~Jeremiahs Prophecy in article https://www.emunaroma.com/blog/the-bubbling-pot

This one about Volcanoes/Earthquakes near the Kinneret

It's hard to understand why the Jews, who are living in Eretz Yisrael, seem to be in more danger than the Jews in Chutz L'Eretz.
